See the above post.

You'll have to either source newer axles or take the stubs from your current diff and insert them into the LSD first. Also, you'll have to do some minor clearance grinding inside the older housing to fit the (slightly larger) LSD in place. There is some good info in the drivetrain forum by Joel Gat regarding the swappage and fitment issues of LSD's, both OEM and aftermarket.

It's my understanding that with the older diffs, you can remove the stubs and then use newer type axles.
(without taking the ring gear into consideration)
