I have a 04 WRB STI. We got some bad hail a couple days ago, about marble size. All of the panels are fine except for the aluminum hood. Theres about a dozen dimples.
Now here is my problem. Do I repair the aluminum hood only to have it damaged during the next batch of hail? Get a steel Impreza RS hood (I have a front mount intercooler) that will hold up to the hail like the rest of the body? Or get a carbon fiber hood?
Ive only been in Colorado for a couple months and havent had to deal with hail this large before. Any helpful input would be appreciated.
