Inexpensive R compound tires that unlike other DOT R comppunds you can actually run on the street with out worrying about them. They are noisy. You sound like a truck with mud terrain tires rolling down the street. Very good grip on the track and the Auto-X course. THey are not the best tires for being competitive in your Class but if you dedicate these tires for only Auto-X you could use them for probably 4 summers worth of Auto-Xing. On the track they are very durable as well, though it is wise to rotate the tires once during the day.

Initially they perform very well in the rain. After teh secondary grooves wear away and you are left with only the "V" shape you need to slow down. THey still handle wet pavement well, but any ammout of standing water is potential for hydroplaning.

I will be buying another set when these are done at the end of this summer.
