both. for me there was only a 10 whp difference in my pump gas tune vs my race gas tune.
I dyno'ed 310 on 94, 320 on C16... same boost levels. Hitting ~18 psi, tapering to ~15 to redline @ 8k.
Keep in mind that this was through a stock mid-pipe w/resonator, I have since upgraded from that 2.25 inch peice to a full 3 in section.
Also, just after the tune, my rear-end grenaded 5 miles from Turbo XS. I was told that it didn't effect my numbers... but well, I really don't know.
Another thing to keep in mind is I had a major exhaust leak on the passenger side head/manifold. I have since fixed that and spool-up is unbelievable!
