My fuel filter is silver. And it's not in the corner- it's tucked right between the washer fluid tank and the brake fluid reservoir.

But the fuel filter only has two lines- one in and one out. Sojuuk said he found 4 leaking lines.

I've only ever heard of fuel lines loosening up or leaking during extremely cold weather... Did someone recently replace your filter? Possibly just didn't tighten the hose clamps enough?

edit: Another possible, albeit unlikely explanation, is that your fuel filter is so filled up with crap, that after the junk settled for a week, and the system was re-pressurized upon startup, the fuel just couldn't flow through at all...
