Atcually, the orifice is more lke a tube that controls the amount of air flow in the pressure hose that goes to the waste gate acutator. Ed had to change the diameter of the orifice to control my boost. However, my max boost never changed between the two tunes, still set at 16.5 psi.
What was cool was the car actually wanted to make more power but I was limited to my stock injectors. At a point during the tune the car made about 245whp but my injector duty cycle was in the 90% range so Ed had to detune somewhat so I wouldn't face issues of wearing out my stock injectors too soon. Once my injector duty cycle was in a safer range 241whp is where the car ended up at.
