Interesting never lookd at how the "rings" were captured- that might make it easier yet- simply swapping rings.
A 40% increase in lighting (lumens) is pretty significant. It's more light than many of the 100 wat bulbs are putting out (w/o melting your lamps).
Funny- I run almost exclusively high beams at night, ofcourse about the only oncoming traffic is on four hooves
