I did mine in green--here's how.
1-Drop the steering column to the lowest point to allow the ample slack to move toward you.
2-Insert one flathead screwdriver @ 3 oclock and another @ 9 oclock, behind the thicker bezel lip/ring.
3-Pry the gauge toward you, while simultaneously twisting the screwdrivers to move the rubber housing in the opposite direction. A half inch is all that is needed to free the gauge.
4-Unplug the electrical harness, rotate the bulb and remove it.
5-It will have a blue condom, which I replaced with a 0.12 inch-diam. green one.
6- Pop everything back in place and you have a near perfect match for the green OEM gauges.
Condoms are at parts-express.com (under bulb covers). Send me a self addressed stamped envelope and I'll send you one of mine (PM me 1st).
