Question Does the charcoal canister need replacement?

Recently I installed a rear lightweight bumper beam. After installation, the car was a little hesitant to boost fully and it seemed like even though I was seeing about 17psi (Cobb stg 2), the car was not going anywhere after about 5500 rpm.

The only thing I touched was the carbon/ charcoal canister under the pass rear of the car. I did not disconnect anything but I did need to twist it around a lot to get to the beam bolts.

My question is: does this part need to be replaced at all and could it cause drivability issues if there is something wrong with it? FYI, the WRX engine has only about 12k miles but the RS chassis has over 120k.

BTW, since then I've restet the ECU and it's much better but still lacking from it's original power levels.

TIA,
-Mike.
