change pcv. If the air filter is dirty the engine will suck a ton of oil vapor from the pcv and head vents
do checks like mcdade suggested.
Check the under the back of the motor too right where the crossmember is. Run your hand across that. It could also be the rear main seal.
If the bottom of the motor if not oily at all then you want to do a comp. check(not cup check
). If that is inconclusive then you should have a leakdown test.
A vacuum guage can also give you some clues. Hook up a good one and tell us exactly what it does during idle both cold and warm.
