EJ22G is the 22B motor. The USDM Legacy turbo uses the EJ22T. In Subaru's scheme of things a G in the 5th place designates a DOHC MPFI Turbo engine. You can look at the engine bay plate on any Legacy turbo and it clear states EJ22T...
As for the topic at hand. Take a look at SubaChad's build in the AFI forum. He started out with boosting an EJ18, and then worked up to an EJ20 block with EJ22E heads. We did a similar build in Bugman's car recently. If you go with an E-manage, the wiring is much simpler than a full blown engine swap, and over time you can put in better and stronger engines with more boost. Far less limiting than say an EJ22T swap, which has an upper limit of around 230Chp, even with the additon of a custom intercooler...
