Brian,

I agree with you on the Legacy Turbo rears. Pad and pot are a good deal larger than stock.

These rear brakes were used by Prodrive in the early Legacy rally cars and in the verI to III (I believe) WRX overseas.

I also don't agree with anyone that states that it's great to upgrade your front brakes and not your rears. Not saying you should get vented discs, but some sort of upgrade is needed.

I spoke with a 12 year SOA veteran this pass weekend at our meet and he got into a long discussion on brake valve proportioning, master cylinder size and brake pressures (most of which lost me completely!). The concensus was don't upgrade your fronts unless you upgrade your rears... it wont stop the car any faster, but it will create much better straight line stability and increase the brake system longevity.
