No. The controller is what interprets the data from the WBO2 sensor.
I have the Zeitronix (
www.zeitronix.com) wideband setup. It cost me something like $270 I think; one of the cheapest/best on the market.
It features a Bosch sensor (cheap if you ever need to replace), it's own logging program that logs 60+ samples per second, and the controller is VERY small so it can easily be installed just about anywhere without being seen.
