Thumbs up 4-pot front brake kit from Troncalli/sugar

First Impressions:
Pick up the box, and WOW, this stuff is heavy. UPS label said 25 pounds, but it felt like more than that. The rotors are smaller than I imagined they'd be, but the calipers... They're bloody huge! And heavy! Everything was packaged in the original Subaru boxes and there was no damage.

Installation:
Not hard, but it took me a lot longer than it should have. Make sure you get the correct caliper on the correct side (easy clue- the bleeder screw goes on the top), or you'll never be able to bleed the system properly. Really, there's only two bolts that you have to take off, plus the brake line. Sugar's kit supplies the correct splash shields, which is nice, since the stock ones will rub on the rotors. If I had one complaint about this kit, I would say that the total lack of instructions might make it tough for the first timer. There's several little clips/brackets, and their correct locations aren't readily apparent. Also, there is one clip that is not included with this kit that goes over the two pins and stabilizes the pads. It appears to be nothing more than an anti-rattle clip, and my brakes seem to work fine without it. I'm going to try to find it anyway.

Performance:
My brake system consists of these fronts, Goodridge lines all around, vented rear rotors and single pot caliper from a Legacy turbo, single stage brake booster (came stock, how nice! ), and NAPA heavy duty DOT 4 fluid. The front Goodridge lines and these brakes went on at the same time, and they made the most difference of any brake mod I've made so far. There's very little pedal travel before the brakes bite, and it's very firm when they do. I haven't tested fade resistance yet, but I don't think my car has enough power to begin stressing my setup. Finally, these brakes just look cool. That caliper with the SUBARU lettering poking through the wheel spokes just looks awesome.
