From looking at the schematic, the side you should splice into is the top wire at the back of the fuse (since this wire is the cold side when the fuse is out). The wire is labeled WB which I assume means white with a black stripe or maybe the opposite. The hot side should be white (for reference).

FYI this also works on USDM MY 03 WRX's
