He has just finished doing the testing on the Link G4, which is the same ecu as the G3, but link has developed if for the cars that run on drive by wire throttle and it has been designed to run with Si-Drive aswell. They needed to do this for the new STi's. According to dave that the official release is about 2 months away. He said that for people that have a car with the EZ30R in it factory standard this is the option they are sorting for you.

For harness integration, like Koom said, they have Adapter harness's that plug make for easy installation.

In short,i f you are doing a conversion then your loom will not support the EZ30R (like my project) and you will have to put in a whole new loom for it. I think that is what Dave was getting at, but if you are looking for a standalone replacement ECU that runs drive-by-wire and Si-Drive on your factory EZ30R car, the G4 will be out soon.

For those that think this is an expensive conversion i laugh at you, Dave has just finished putting in a EZ30R into a GC8R with a V8 Sti 6-speed, R180 etc, Caged and fully race prepared for just less than $28000 NZD ($21,330 USD).
It had been built with the intention of putting a turbo on it in the next 6 months.

If you want any info from me, im useless at coming on here so give me a pm and il give you my email addy. Otherwise you can stalk me on here -->Clubsub
1. Yeah this is GREAT NEWS! I'm doing everything in the case of running the stock ECU and once running see what there is in Standalone for the car(As this now is a reality!) I'm laying through the Legacy harness and tying in as much of the Legacy in(including 5eat)
2.Yeah my swap will have costed around that by the end. More than just the drive and powertrains inluded though too. This is considered high however for some people's budgets and such. Though power to cost and keeping gas milage hard to beat. This is including the cost of the car.
