Do some research man. Probably the best thing you could do at this point. Find out what you like and what your goals are going to be for the car. They may change in time but at least this will give you a starting point. Learn about your motor/drivetrain/model. All these factors come into play when modifying any vehicle.

On the other hand, got any pics? I actually just (like 3 days ago) picked up a '97 Legacy L wagon as my dd and am learning quite a bit already. Utilize this site to its fullest extent. It can be a good resource.
