So.........
A Murano got towed into the shop, THE customer had been gone all weekend, tried to start it monday morning and it choked out sputtered and died and would not start up again. More engine codes than can be listed on the CEL.
The technician opened the hood and there is a rat nest on top of the engine!
The vehicle had been in the garage all weekend where they keep the bags of dog food, the rats had gotten into the dog fod bag, and stored dog food all over the engine bay! In the radiator support, under the cowl and all in the air box and air intake!
When the customer tried to start the vehicle it actually sucked dog food all up into the throttle body and into the intake and the engine cylinders.
Tech vacuumed out all the dog food, and got it to start...sort of. The valves are screwed up on the motor.
Customer then had their Insurance company come to look at the vechicle for a claim.
