bad sectors = bad news.

Info on bad sectors usually aren't recoverable by the regular user. For example, I tried to move a .pst file that was 2GB in size from a failing harddrive(see bad sectors) and it would not happen as the file lacked a redundancy cyclical check.

If it's uber important, you may want to look into professional recovery and stop messing around with that drive.
