I found a thread where a guy did swapped one in an '08. He said he needed:
-Slave cylinder
-Drive shaft from a A/T 2nd Gen Legacy
So the 2011-2013 WRXs have the wide-body and wider track.
Here are my questions if anyone has answers to any of them:
Would there be differences in this swap between an '08 and a 2012 WRX?
Would you use the WRX front axles?
Assuming the above is true, is there an optional route of using the 05 sti axles, rear diff, and hubs?
What affects, if any, would this swap have on the stability control system of the 2012?
I'd appreciate any first-hand knowledge here as opposed to speculation.
