I have 390 BHP / 333 lb-ft RWD and really it is too much at low speeds. Above 40-50 MPH or so it is ok to open up. My car will sometimes break traction in 2nd as it hits the power peak, in the dry. There are blinky lights and warning beeps when that happens - depending on the shifting mode it will do different things; ie allows some wheelspin/sideways crabbing in sport mode, crazy tire smoking wheelspin in "everything off" mode.

And then there's wet weather...

The experience is quite different than driving a Subaru where you really never think much about traction under acceleration, just about balance of the car and when to brake.
