Naturally, this would be completely illegal. Illegal but not harmful to you or the environment. But illegal.

Buy one of the "AC charging kit" connector cables. Take your car to a large parking lot. Prop your hood open. Take the cap off your AC line. Attach your charging kit *without the can of coolant*. Put the other end in an empty peanut butter jar. Turn the knob. Coolant will start flowing out and immediatly evaporating.

1) The adapter cable will get very cold. That's why you're not just sticking a screw driver in the schrader valve.

2) Atomized oil will be coming out with the coolant in a fine mist. That's why you want to stand back. Don't breathe it. That's also why you don't want to do this in your garage.

3) The jar should catch most of the oil that comes out with the refridgerant. stuff a rag in there to keep as much atomized oil as possible from blowing out and making your whole engine bay greasy.
