Well - for the home mechanic, I have found the Sears craftsman ones to be pretty decent - their really basic ones are junk, but if you get the "better-friction" ones, (they are the red ones with the dark grey drawers with a silver handle) they are just fine - I have the rollaway, a 3 drawer 18" deep intermediate, and a 10 drawer, 14" deep (I think it's 14 - it's the narrow one) top cabinet. The real basic ones (all red with black handles) are really flimsy, plus they use an external bar for the lock (annoying) The ball bearing ones are really nice, but expensive, and not worth the expense for a home mechanic imho. Most parts of the sears line I have are in the 150-250 range per.
