Default Suby Guru Needed. 05 LGT trans+ej257 block. Flywheel fitment?

Ok, here goes:

I'd first like to say thanks to SPEC and Adam at TH motorsports for all the help.

My Dilemma. I have a 2005 legacy GT, 5mt. The previous owner had installed an 06 WRX flywheel, and a ACT clutch. I ended up busting a finger off the pressure plate.

So I ordered a SPEC stage 2 (part # SU252) clutch. Not realizing that the LGT for that year was dual mass, I found out I couldn't use the 06 WRX flywheel I pulled out of the car.

But here's the problem. The car DOES have an 06 STi motor. Adam at TH said they do have a flywheel, but says it specifically bolts onto a ej255.

So I call SPEC. They tell me the patterns are the same, and that the crank placement and fitments are all the same, and that the flywheel WILL bolt up, but said theres a different in bore size in the LGT flywheel (part # SU25A) and an STi flywheel; But the car had an 06 WRX flywheel in it previously.

SO, does anyone know if I'll have fitment issures? If there is excess material in the bore size, and the lgt flywheel needs to be opened up, I will do it myself. SPEC wasn't real specific on it. They said it might cause interference? But if it directly bolts up, and the crank specs are all the same I don't see why there would be.

Any help? lol
