Since I ended up with a PM about this:

1) My TWE 4-2-1 HO header, bought in 2010, does not hit the crossmember or power steering lines. Yes, I have the Group N engine mounts. You should have them to.

2) The TWE 4-2-1 header will clear both the 5MT and 4EAT trannies

3) Coating will last longer than wrapping and work pretty well, if done right. The only company doing exhaust coating right is Swaintech. Yes, I've tried JetHot personally. No, it's not as good as Swaintech. The coatings used by cheap pipe makers like Grimmspeed, Import Image, etc isn't worth a damn. Keep in mind that coatings and wrappings work slightly differently. Coating primarily reduces the pipe's ability to radiate. So the surface temperature of the pipe is high but stuff near it, but not touching the pipe, stays much cooler. Wrapping reduces both radiation and conduction. Meaning things can touch the pipe (well, the wrap on the outside of the pipe) with less chance of catching on fire. Wrap does retain more heat overall, but has problems with durability and evenness that coating doesn't have. It's a tradeoff.
