Maybe try driving around with everything including the center console taken out. That way you can really hear where the noise is coming from. If everything is tightened up I don't see where it could be making the noise. Did you make sure the snap ring is completely seated? Also, if it's rubbing against the rubber you can take some white lithium grease to lubricate it. I had some squeaking noise from the arm rubbing against the rubber but the grease fixed it up.
