Default Burnurass's 2013 SWP WRX Premium Hatch Journal

After having my 1st subaru for about a year and 30,000 miles, I decided that the subarus were a great daily driver and nice complement to my 2003 BMW M3.
Before this 2013, I had a 2002 WRX Wagon in Silver

My favorite stage of the car:

I just did simple things to it, stage 2 cobb OTS tune, konis with sti pink springs, and jdm V7 Rays RS-ZERO Wheels.

I wanted something newer, more comfortable, so I decided to look for a 2011 WRX hatch as I loved the way they looked, and I knew the platform was very capable after driving my buddy's 2009 wrx sedan. In my search, I found out that all 2011/2012's were at least 24k with normal mileage on them.

For the heck of it, I got a price on a new one. MSRP for all instock wrx (if they had any at all). Another option I was offered was the painful factory order. It would take 4-6 weeks according to the dealer (those of you that have ordered know it takes longer, especially for a not as popular color).
Base was 24700, premium was 27300, limited was 28XXX if I did a factory order. I decided on the premium model because I really wanted the heated windshield wiper area, heated mirrors, and heated seats. Sunroof + Fogs were a nice bonus as well.

So I placed an order for a 2013 Plasma Blue WRX Premium Hatch. After the 6th week, I was already getting antsy with no ETA on when the car was coming yet. During week 6, While checking the dealers website, like I did everyday for the past two weeks, I saw that a Satin White Pearl PREMIUM model was coming in soon, so I asked my salesperson If I could take that one instead if it wasn't allocated to anyone. As luck would have it, They were able to make the same deal for me. FYI...my car came 2 weeks later... lol.
I don't regret getting SWP as it's a beautiful color. Kinda glad it turned out this way.
