The FIA always finds a way to give motorsports the short end of the stick. I can't blame them though, F1 funding is ridiculous. As great of a company Cosworth is, I don't see a standardized engine as being part of what is supposed to be the highest forum of auto racing. They might as well scrap the constructors title while they're at it. I don't care much for this kind of ruling in other forms of racing, but in Formula 1 it should not interfere with.

The **** are you talking about? In 75 and 76, it was basically the same case with everyone not named Ferrari using the DFV's.
