I have done more than one spring install without compressors. it's a little hairy, and I can only do it if we are installing lowering springs, but I'm not afraid to do it. We either need somewhere with air and an impact wrench, or a set fo compressors, an "O" ratchet like fred had, and an allen wrench. I am not sure on teh size of the allen wrench.

I aks if you are getting new top mounts because it saves us the trouble of swapping the old ones over, the gain with the STi pieces is probably nil, and not worth the cost.

i've never done just the inserts before, do you have a set of instructions, are there any special tools needed to get hte old ones out? i guess i'd have to see them to figure it out.
