Wow, that's utter crap!!! Who cares what the LAW says... fixing your mileage is the RIGHT thing to do. Shame on Subaru and the dealer!

I suggest you speak with the GM as mentioned above. Keep your cool and explain your concerns with an incorrect odo in regards to resale value. This is a VERY legitimate concern. There's aboslutely no way a dealership should take in a car, under waranty, and "break" something else in the process of fixing the original problem.

If the dealship is still unwilling to do what's right, tell them how incredibly dissappointed you are and kindly suggest they should expect a letter, cc'ed to SOA, documenting your complaint to the dealer, SOA, and the BBB.

If it comes to the complaint, and I hope it doesn't, have your letter notarized and delivered certified mail, including a copy of your BBB complaint.

I'm very sorry to hear you've had this trouble. Sounds incredibly disheartening. Hope it works in the end to your satisfaction!
