These can be welded into your ride no problem but welding also affects your cars undercoat and paint finish. You see, welding to one side of the body shell will heat up the entire area of the weld and generally burn away any paint or undercoat. You then have to go back to grind away what's left of your paint / undercoat and re-paint that area anyway.

I will comment that welding in a roll bar or cage is always safer and stronger than a bolt in assuming that the welding is of good quality. A bolt in cage or roll bar is considered to be safer than no roll bar or cage at all. Either way though you should plan on purchasing some quality roll bar padding.
