I'm assuming you meant miles per tank? There's no such thing as miles per tank.

Also, someone correct me if I'm wrong, but with the car in gear and coasting, don't the injectors shut off or go to minimal duty? With the car coasting out of gear, the injectors still have to fire to keep the engine running.
