I agree that the piping could have gone a different way but there are two reasons why i did it this way. 1) the turbo does not clock the way I would need the outlet to be positioned because of the internal wastegate and 2) I needed/wanted to run a recirc BOV which I could not have done the way you are explaining. Dont get me wrong thats the way I wanted to do it but short of running a stand-alone ECU this was the best at the time we made the car. Now that the car is running speed-density Im sure I could remake the pipes but Ill leave that to the next owner...
