I just got done towing a Harbor Freight 4x8 from NYC to WV, and back. I have a 2007 WRX with a TD05-18G EWG, stock suspension, 114k miles, and a curtis hitch. With the side panels and wood it probably weighed 300ish pounds and then I packed it with tools probably weighing 700 or so. I had no trouble the whole trip; going up hills, dead stop up a steep driveway, braking, I probably averaged 75mph the whole way.
I have a bar camera above my license plate that worked great for hooking up the trailer
