Overall, I still like the sound of a ScoobySport a little better. Keep in mind that I’ve heard many of the popular exhausts and don’t think any are better sounding than a SS. I think an aftermarket downpipe with the JIC would bring back enough edginess to satisfy me here. As it is I am very happy with it.

Both the SS and JIC felt better on the car than the stock muffler, especially at higher RPMs. Moving the stock STi muffler to my wagon I could feel an immediate difference in the wagon. It felt pokier. I don’t see how it can’t be a bottleneck.

Are the newer SS exhausts better fitting? and does anyone have any sound clips of the SS exhaust. I'm hearing only good things about this exhaust. Does it drone on the highway? When you say not as bassy, is it raspy at all? I'm sorry about the SS questions when this is about the JIC but i just purchaused the TXS stealthback and i'm looking to upgrade to a quality sounding, fitting and looking axel-back. Any input would be great. Thanks in advance.
