No, you shouldn't but unfortunately these things do happen sometimes. The dealer has to fix it, it sucks that they didn't get it the first time but hopefully they will now.
As for what it could be there really isn't enough information here to even speculate on. Do you know what the code was that set the CEL? We need to know that to have any idea what the problem was.
