I don't think there needs to be much distinction, since most early christian prayer started with "O god" or "O lord" and eventually changed to "dear lord" or "dear god".
Also note that people use 'dear lord' or 'dear god' the same way people yell "OH GOD" when something is happening.
ALSO the snackbar stuff occurs when something bad OR good is happening....so IMHO saying "oh god" is the EXACT same thing as "allahu akbar". That
