I will say this, the truck is extremely capable and the combination of texas oil money + capability == videos like the ones posted on this page.
For my money, i would not drive a jeep or any other 4x4 (maybe a power wagon, but i dont like the interiors or the freeway ride). The raptor drives like a dream, is super comfortable, can go 98% of the places a jeep can go on a jeep trail, and can easily handle 100mph on a dirt road in in the open desert. (hell i have hit 80mph on dirt roads in virginia with little pucker factor)
There simply isnt any other vehicle that can do all of that in one package. The "its the new srt4" reference of course is troll bait pure and simple. So keep on trollin i suppose, but you should really drive one in its element before you attempt to speak authoritatively on any one subject.
SRT4's were fun for the price point if you just wanted to do peg legged burnouts and beat up on hondas at the strip.

You completely misunderstand what I've said.
The statement was only comparing the level of abuse/hooning that it attracts. All of the various jumping videos I've seen would make me...hesitant to buy used. Just like how any SRT-4 you see for sale likely has been through three motors and six transmissions.
I lurve me some Raptor.
