ok, ended up pulling the cts and testing it at different temps which all check out fine. wired up a 0-5K ohme potentiometer to test the ecu/wiring and hooked it to the cts plug and dialed in resistences i knew correlated to certain temps and viewed it on my laptop via romraider the ecu processed it correctly.

then i looked at my hoses figured out that i had moved a hose that use to be higher than the crossover tube and i must have had some air in there so now it just collected at the crossover tube hosing the cts. moved the hose and reburped the system and its running like she use to and the temps match and the fans are now triggered like they are suppose to. if nothing else, learned a lot with testing sensors and playing with potentiometers lol
