Yes....you also burn through it twice as fast. At least I did when I ran my E85 map. Granted I am modded about twice as much as the OP.
So I guess do the math...see which fuel actually "takes you further."

We can, however...be honest about one thing, well maybe two...We don't buy these cars for MPG efficiency, and we also don't get tuned on E85 to improve MPG. It's strictly for performance.

It's just silly when people state how E85 is cheaper than 91 , yet it really isn't in the big picture since you generally burn through it about 40% faster.


Don't get me wrong. I will probably be going back to it as soon as my new motor is finished being broken in. It's been driven three times in the past month, so I am not worried about constantly finding a station. I am pissed the Cave Creek/Union Hills location closed though, now I have to drive 10 miles further for the closest station, which is a 70 mile round trip for me now.
