I did see this car ^^^^^^ in person and it had no real weight reduction that I could see(just the cf trunk and cf hood/no exhaust). In fact there was stuff on it that they could have easily removed to save weight but didnt for some strange reason.
I know the normal train of thought in drag racing generally is around for every 100lbs of loss = .6 of a tenth.
so 500lbs less would equal 3 tenths of a second faster(not really as much as you would think)
also a lighter car is harder to get to hook up at launch,my car always spins through 1st and second gears as seen in the vid taken at Byron this year.
I think once i get to try my M/T slicks along with my newly installed KW drag coilovers the car will pick up at least 2 tenths with no changes done.
60 foot time was 1.52 and that needs to come down to the low 1.30's
