I thinks its more to do with the drivers here, not the cops.

Last year I was pulled over, because my insurance decal expired that day,
the cop wanted to warn me or something
nothing else he wanted

It was on a fairly busy 2 lane street, 1 lane each direction.
I am pulled over on the shoulder, and the cop behind me.
A family pulls up parallel to me and comes to a complete stop, and they all sit there staring at me, traffic begins to build up behind then, and they remain at a complete stop, for at least 2 minutes, people start honking away.
The cop finally has to go over to them and ask them to move along, but they won't they continue to just sit there, windows all up.
The cop motions to me to go, since I hadn't actually done anything wrong
except wait to the last day to renew my insurance, as I drove away, they were still sitting there blocking traffic.

This was on 132nd in Surrey, around 80th ave, during rush hour, for people that know the area
