Agreed - it's a mix of drivers and cops. I have to admit that the speed and "sense of urgency" drivers drive here have nothing to do with cops.
Today later in the afternoon a guy with a M3 was at a stop light...he happened to be digging into something around his glove compartment. He noticed he was late in moving after the light turned green. He waved, then sped off, In the 65km/h zone (45mile zone), he disappared shortly.
Cops however, do set some odd traps, the only time I've seen any are at the School Zones, which by the way, are at 45km/h. However, they sit in the zones to scare you more than anything. As mentioned before, I always go within the speeding laws, so I don't worry too much.
I suppose if I let it "rip", one of these days, a ticket is on the way. (knock on wood). However, I just don't feel the urge, everyone is going faster than I normally would in Vancouver. No complaints here.
