Trying to figure out what to go with. My main driving is dry/wet but I live on some big hills and when it snows it is basically ice on steep, steep grades.

I also need to drive all over the state (OR), so at times I'll see the nasty, heavy, snow and ice.

I've got 970 a/s on my 17's, thought they would be enough, but not on the ice and certainly not in the nasty mountain roads.

leaning towards the general Arctic's (non studded), but wondering if I should be looking at the x ice or the conti extremewinter contacts?

Anyone have experience with 2 or more of those chime in on ice performance?

Thanks
