Default 06 WRX twin scroll mid-engine TR-42 track/street car build

I have started gathering parts for my TR-42 (chassis #004) build. This is an exo-car from Matrix Motor Werks, similar to the Ariel Atom, but way, way cooler in the looks dept AND it will be powered by an all Subaru drivetrain.

The configuration is mid-engine, with the engine and transmission mounted directly behind the seats. The Subaru AWD transmission is converted to 2WD by removing the center diff and adding a locking spool and block off plate. The balance and handling of a true mid-engine car has been proven as one of the best designs for racing and this should make quite an exceptional street/autocross car.

I bought the engine from this 2006 WRX -

and a 5spd transmission from a 2002 WRX (RA geared).

There currently is not enough room to hold the 6spd STI transmission, but in this light weight vehicle, and in a 2WD setup, this 5spd should hold up just fine since there are only two wheels under traction (plus this thing will only weigh about 1300-1400 pounds).

I will be receiving a tremendous amount of help on this build from Brandon at All Pro Subaru in Alpharetta, GA. He will give input for my mods to the engine but I also welcome any additional input from this site about the engine/turbo system.

I will be using this car for 95% street use and some autocross events.

From my own searching, here is where I think I'm headed in the mod dept -

HTA68
Godspeed TMIC (already purchased)
Upgraded injectors
Walbro 255
Aftermarket Boost Controller
TGV delete
Grimspeed exhaust

The exhaust will use a 3" y-pipe from the down pipe to transition to 2ea short 3" stainless APC mufflers.

Where I live in Georgia, this 2011 titled assembled vehicle will be required to pass emissions, so I will use the factory ECU and OBD port and the factory filler neck and gas cap built into the custom front mounted fuel tank.
