Really depends on how much money you have and the proper tools you have. I am very anal and I have loads of tools. Almost two of everything. If it we me, I would do it myself. The install is very straight forward and simple. But I am comparing this to rebuilding a grenaded engine. Both of which I have done. Should you do it? Im not sure on your level if skill or common sense. But if you have a jack, two or four stands, wheel chucks, wrenches or ratchets then you should be all set. Again, I wouldnt consider this a high level job but this isnt as easy as changing your oil either.
