Hi

It was possibly me that you read about, I have a GT-B, (twin turbo Legacy wagon with Bilstein Suspension)

I converted my Bilsteins to adjustable coilovers - this meant buying threaded sleeves, adjustable spring mounts and tophats as a kit, the original spring mounts are ground off the struts, then the new sleeves are slid over the struts and welded in place.

You can then buy any 2.25" springs to fit - I have 300/250lb f/r springs with additional 4" helper springs to ensure that I never have any dislocation problems.

The car now handles superbly, I generally run it very low, (cut the bumpstops down to half the height first!!) but we have had bad floods recently so I raised the car by 3-4" (still handles pretty well, but a bit more roll)

My web site has pictures of the setup on Cars=>Legacy=>modifications=>suspension
