um...

i used to get 380 km per tank when my car was 100% stock.

now i am running 3" TBE catless, intake, UTEC. and it runs 280 km per tank max. i will get 280 only when i stay off boost. obviously it is much more than 5% man. at least for me.

as for the pollution. there are 2 cats in the STi, and it was design to take up about 90% of harmful elements, so if you running the car stock with 2 cats on it, it still has 10% of harmful gases coming out from your exhaust. now i am running catless and 100% all coming out from the exhuast. i can't see how your calculation of 3000% came up?
