Alright my friend has a automatic 2.5l sedan outback limited. His engine is at a 100,000 miles. I've searched around this forum and it doesn't seem liek anyone has done this or at least I didnt search properly. Either way I just want to know whats needed, I want help compiling a check list of what I will need to make something like this happen.
Engine (long block everythig already on it)
Engine harness
Engine mounts
Tranny
Tranny harness
Tranny mounts
Stock ECU...(maybe a tuneable Apex'i?)
Clutch master cyliner and all the other gods for a manual swap
Would it be better to swap the rear with an STi LSD?
Should I just go with an entire drivetrain swap...actually would I have to fabricate a drive shaft long enough to reach back there?
