A few things:

2015 WRX making similar power to 2014 STI doesn't mean that they will run the same times. A second slower can be due to gearing, and difficulty of the actual shift. You can't bang gears on a cable actuated shifter the way you bang gears on a rod/linkage shifter. A car with less or the same power, but with better shift action and better ratios will be quicker.

Comparison between The Shop's 303whp '15 STi w/EL headers vs this 319whp one without. The Shop's car also baselined at 204whp on their dyno, where as this one baselined at 268whp on the dyno Visconti used. The Shop's car picked up more power with the EL header than Visconti tuned car without EL header, no?
